Students had valuable educational and cultural experiences over spring break, returning home with a newly-enhanced global perspective on public health, intercultural communications, and manufacturing.
This spring break eight PSU-LV and other Penn State students, traveled together to Guanajuato, Mexico as part of a short-term study abroad program.In 2017, PSU University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with University of Guanajuato (UG) that included facilitation of short-term programs for students. PSU-LV serves as the primary liaison between Penn State and UG for embedded study abroad trips.
Penn State Lehigh Valley has expanded the number of spring break travel opportunities offered this year. During spring break (March 9-15), Lehigh Valley campus faculty and staff are leading more than 75 students on trips to Great Britain, Ireland, Mexico, and Peru, as well as Massachusetts and West Virginia.
